Frequently Asked Questions
My art-making process is an intuitive flow, and does not lend itself to more directed commission pieces.
I aspire to release 3-4 collections of original paintings each year, though this is not always possible with my frequent travel schedule.
I offer museum-quality giclée prints of my original artwork several weeks after releasing a collection.

Reproductions of my original art are museum-quality. Each giclée reproduction is printed on archival, acid-free paper that yields brilliant colors.
Giclée refers to a high-resolution image printed by a larger-scale printer using pigment-based inks (as opposed to dye-based) on an archival medium, such as canvas, watercolor paper, or other specialty paper. This process results in longer lasting (100-200+ years), vibrant prints.
The quality of my prints are important to me, which includes considerations for resolution integrity and sizing limitations. As such, I offer multiple print sizes, dependent on the size of the original artwork.
Many of my reproduction prints include a white border surround (typically between 1/2 and 3/4 inch included in the print size) for a clean display in frames without matting.
I do not offer matted prints at this time. I include a white border surround in most prints (between 1/2 and 3/4 inch included in the print size) for a clean display in frames without matting. Border information is included in product listings.
Unless otherwise noted in the listing, my original paintings are matted, framed, and ready to hang.
A fine artist as well as upcycle artist, some of my favorite afternoons are spent antiquing for repurposed frames. Many of the frames for my original art are thoughtfully reclaimed and carefully restored. Please expect that minor imperfections may remain, adding to the storied artwork within.
I do not offer framing for my reproduction prints.
Currently, I offer both original art and museum-quality reproduction prints at Lisa Barry Art. I hope to offer gift shop items in the future.
